When they offered me to participate in the 4th Paper Ball book, I didn't hesitate for a second. Because it is a collaborative project, written by athletes and edited by Planeta, where the collected is used to donate books to school children. I chose to work on the text by Santiago Lange. I can think of a thousand reasons: because he is a genius, because of his tenacity and career, because passion does not have an expiration date, and because I love that feeling of absolute freedom of being on the river. A big pride that both he and his partner Ceci Carranza are the standard bearers at the Tokyo 2021 Olympic Games representing Argentina.

And this idea that Juanky Jurado - the book's producer - told me about Santiago seemed key to me: “the wind forged my character”. How nice to be able to think about learning from that place. The book has a foreword by Gabriela Sabatini and a back cover by Manu Ginobili. It has beautiful stories of well-loved athletes. You will surely like it.

Cuando me ofrecieron participar del 4º libro de Pelota de Papel no dudé ni un segundo. Porque es un proyecto colaborativo, escrito por deportistas y editado por Planeta, donde lo recaudado se usa para destinar libros a los chicos de las escuelas. Elegí trabajar sobre el texto de Santiago Lange. Se me ocurren mil motivos: porque es un genio, por su tenacidad y trayectoria, porque la pasión no tiene fecha de vencimiento, y porque me encanta esa sensación de libertad absoluta de estar en el río. Un orgullo gigante que tanto él como su compañera Ceci Carranza sean los abanderados en los Juegos Olímpicos de Tokyo 2021 representando a la Argentina.
